Life in Technicolor: Talking Bosch IDS Ultra with Trevor Shane

Thanks to Bosch Home Comfort, just prior to Christmas, Rhydon was able to have an eye opening conversation with Bosch IDS Ultra project engineer, Trevor Shane.

The two discussed not only Trevor's path to Bosch and how he navigated a switch from the auto industry to HVAC but some of the key design features on the new IDS Ultra Cold Climate Heat Pump. IDS Ultra as the first Heat Pump to pass the United States Cold Climate Challenge and Bosch looks to lead the way with this revolutionary technology.

Bosch's first announced R454B A2L compliant system as first shown to the world in Chicago at the 2024 AHR conference and HVAC R&D is proud to be a part of helping to educate the #TradeCrew and support the launch of this fantastic new product to market.
